“SEPTIMA” captures the intimate process of creating seven unique cinematic portraits, each being inherently linked to the way of living of the individuals featured. Among these, one of the portraits belongs to the director.
Over the course of 10 years, the director devoted himself to the process of recording the world around him, seeking to expose how his life experience intertwines with the stories of the other six protagonists.
Situated between journal and portrait, the documentary encapsulates the power of memory, while highlighting the importance of being a witness to others’ experiences. The focus falls on a generation that is less “seen” by our society, through exploring its struggles in themes such as justice, freedom, creative act, poetry, journey, love, loneliness and friendship.
